Privacy

This page explains what Egypt Day Tours (egyptdaytours.net) does with the details you send us.

What we collect. When you send a request, we receive what you type in the form: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the tour, the date, the number of people and any message or hotel you add. If you write to us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive what you send there. Like most websites, our server also records technical details of each visit (your IP address, browser and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.

Why. We use your details to answer your request, to send you the price and the plan for your day, to arrange the tour you book and to contact you about it. We share only what is needed with the people who run your day, such as your guide and driver. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.

How long. We keep your request and booking details for as long as we need them to answer you, run your tour and keep our records.

Your choices. You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details we hold about you through our contact page.

Booking terms

Requests and bookings. Sending a request is not a booking and costs nothing. We reply with the price for your date and the plan for the day. Your tour is booked when you pay a 25% deposit and we confirm the booking to you in writing, by email or WhatsApp.

Prices. Prices are per person, for 2 or more people. Where a tour shows a "from" price, the price for your date and group is the one we confirm in writing. Each tour page lists what is included and what is not.

Flights. Domestic flights are never part of a tour price. On the days by plane, the flights are booked and paid separately.

Times. The clock times on tour pages are approximate. We confirm your pickup time when you book, because traffic and your hotel's location change it.

Optional extras. Extras such as going inside the Great Pyramid, the Tutankhamun tomb ticket or an optional ride are paid only if you choose them. Shopping stops are optional and can be skipped.

Changes. If you want to skip a stop or change the order, ask before you book and we will tell you what is possible for that tour.

Payment and cancellation

Paying. A 25% deposit, paid online by card or PayPal, confirms your booking. You pay the rest in cash on the day of the tour.

Cancelling. Cancel up to 24 hours before your tour starts and we refund your deposit in full. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start, or do not come, the deposit is not refunded.

Changing the date. You can move your tour to another date free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, if the new date is available.

Weather and flights. If a balloon flight is cancelled because of the weather, you choose another date or a full refund. On the day trips by plane, the flights are booked separately and follow the airline's own rules.

If we cancel. If we have to cancel your tour, you get a full refund.

Cookies

Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site: which pages are read, how far people scroll and what they click. Both set cookies in your browser. Clarity can replay how a visit moved through a page, with the text typed into forms hidden. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it. You can block these cookies in your browser's settings, or with Google's opt-out add-on. This site does not use advertising cookies.

How you found us. To learn which pages and sources bring requests, your browser keeps a short note in its own storage (not a cookie): the first page you opened on this site, the site or link that sent you to it (for example a search engine), a random code that does not say who you are, and the pages you open here. Nothing in this note is sent while you browse; if you send us a request, the note goes with it. When you click our WhatsApp, phone or email link, the site records the click with the page, the button and this note, and adds your device type (phone or computer), your browser's language and, where our network provides it, your country; never your IP address. A WhatsApp message you start from the site ends with a short reference code, such as "Ref 7K2Q", so we can match your message to that visit; you can delete the code before sending. You can delete the note at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
